The Basic Ways to Play Texas Hold'em for Beginners

The Texas Hold'em is considered to be the grandfather of all poker variants that are now being created to make the game of poker more versatile and fun to play with. At the beginning of the game, the poker players are required to place an ante which is an amount that each player pays before the game of poker begins. The dealer then deals cards to the players with two cards for each player. The dealt card is placed face down and the players can check out the value of the cards dealt to them careful not to show it to the other players on the poker table.

In Texas Hold'em there is always a betting round involved for every card dealt to each player. The decision of the player will be dependent on the quality of the hands they are dealt with. In Texas Hold'em the dealer places five cards at the center of the poker table. Two of these cards are placed face down while the remaining three cards are dealt face up. This part of playing poker is called the flop. The players will then refer their cards with the dealt cards on the table to determine the potential of their hands to create a good hand to play for and a betting round is then done.

The dealer then shows the fourth card on the turn and once again the players check their hands for the possibility of making a good hand to play which is followed by another round of betting.

On the river the fifth card is shown by the dealer and the players remaining on the game need to make their final hands based on the cards that are available for them on the table in order to make the best hand possible which is again followed by another round of betting.

The final call is made where the players reveal their cards and the player having the best hand rank wins the pot at stake. These are the basic foundation of the Texas Hold'em rule that every poker beginner should at least learn before they jump in to play Texas Hold'em.
